There are a lot of ways to get involved as a volunteer at Beach Elementary. Here are just a examples of how you can help:

  • Support your classroom teacher as a room volunteer
  • Put away books in the library
  • Organize lost and found and the clothing closet
  • Participate in outdoor clean-up and improvement projects
  • Join the BCU Board

To volunteer inside the school, PPS requires a background check. It’s a simple process, and we encourage everyone to complete the check if there is even a small chance you will want to volunteer.  You don't want to be turned away from chaperoning a field trip, or attending field day or class party. It is valid for three years and they will send you an email when it is close to expiring. This process can be completed at www.pps.net/volunteer.

If you would like to hear about more volunteer opportunities, please fill out the volunteer survey. We'd love to know more about you and the ways you would like to be involved!

Snack Closet
Beach maintains a shared snack closet that helps all our kids and classrooms. If you'd like to donate, here's a link to the Amazon list. Items will be delivered directly to the school.
