Beach Fundraising: Annual Events
The BCU hosts two major fundraising events every year: Beach Rocks! and our main event: the auction we call the Beach School Bash. Enjoy a night with friends and fellow parents. These events (which are for grown-ups only) put the FUN into fundraising. While they are our biggest money-raisers, we work hard to try and make these events accessible to all Beach families.

Beach Rocks
Last year’s event raised $2,000 for the Beach Principal Fund, and more importantly, it was an out-of-this-world good time.
When: Saturday, February 24th, 2024 (Time and Location TBA)
What it is: The talented musicians of Beach come together to form a kick-ass band, fronted by singers plucked from the community, and all the funds (raised via sliding scale tickets) go to Beach School.
Beach Rocks Extra Extra!
We Need YOU to ROCK! We’re issuing the call for singers and musicians (especially an accomplished base player) to join our merry band! Beach Rocks is essentially part cover band and part live karaoke, but it is wholly an amazing opportunity to make music, meet new friends, and be part of the Beach community.
Singers will be asked to choose a song to perform and come to two rehearsals to perfect it with the band. Rehearsal dates are TBD, but will be in the weeks preceding 2/24. Please contact Jessica at burtjessica@gmail.com to sign up or learn more.

The Beach School Bash
This is a two part auction, and it is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Last year we raised $35,000, which funds SUN school for all, Teacher Grants, Field Trips, the Beach Family Fund and more!
When: Late April or Early May (Time and Location still being pinned down.)
Details: The Beach School Bash kicks off with a weeklong online auction that anyone (family, friends, neighbors) can take part in. You’ll have a chance to bid on tons of amazing things, such as summer camps, gift cards and tickets, crafts, vacation homes, and more! Then, on April 27th, we host a live auction! Event tickets include food, beverages, music and lots of opportunities to support our school community.
